The Gilmore Girls

Lorelai and Rory Gilmore were the fast talking mother daughter team that stole America's heart. The television series was about a mother raising her daughter in a small community in Connecticut. Lorelai is from an uppercrust family background. She turned her back on the rich lifestyle to raise her daughter in a different atmosphere. The mother and daughter team work well together and rely on each other for support in everything they do.

"Gilmore Girls" was an exceptional television series that took Rory from her early teens to her early adulthood. The pair could make you laugh and cry in the blink of an eye. They have close-knit friends, a dysfunctional family and the most fun a mother and daughter could possibly have together. The show represented a very strong woman who wished only to rely on herself. Every mother and daughter should watch this show together. It most definitely illustrates a strong mother/daughter tie.

What's so great about Gilmore Girls?

Gilmore Girls has everything a television series should have. There is laughter, tears and downright heartbreak. The mother/daughter team of Rory and Lorelei is unprecedented in showing what a healthy relationship between a mother and daughter should be. The fast pace of the dialogue between the pair is absolutely priceless. These girls are quick-witted and independent. It's no wonder people think it is so great!
